Never underestimate what a curious kitten is capable of doing. One minute, you see a scraggly-looking fluffball crying in distress on the street. The next, that kitten is a pro riding a skateboard or snowboarding with thousands of fans online.

Kibrit, the Shredding Skatecat from Italy

Kibrit or ‘Match’ the tabby is from Vasto, Italy and is the most ameowzing ‘Skatecat’ you’ll see. She can even skate an obstacle course, leaning on the board to go around orange cones. She’s not merely skateboarding but shredding! The obstacle course leaves no doubt she’s maneuvering, banking curves as she goes.

If she needs to turn, she leans, but also sometimes puts her little paw down like a person would.

Found on a Slope, Meowing in Distress

On TikTok, Kibrit has a big following but it wasn’t long ago she was a lost kitten on the street. Her dad, Marco Spadaccini, found her ‘meowing desperately in distress’ on a slope. Was the hill a hint of what was to come?

Marco already has two incredibly trained dogs and cats at home. So, he at first tried to find the tabby kitten a home. But then, he decided to keep the adorable cutie. Who could blame him and  it seems she was surely destined for this family from the start!

She was just three months old at the time. But when the dog trainer found her, everything was downhill for the kitten from then on. No more struggles and she revealed a natural skill that is phenomenal! She loves to ride a skateboard down hills or anywhere else.

She Took to the Family and Skateboard Instantly!

It’s incredible to see how quickly Kibrit took to her new family. Right away, she was out walking on a harness with Rush and Will, the gentle shepherds. Rush walked her so patiently on a leash. Later, she began walking with Tiger and Kylie, her highly-trained cat siblings.

Marco previously trained the pets to ride skateboards, and Kibrit took to that like a fish to water. It’s hard to believe, but this was the tabby’s first skateboard lesson below. It’s as if she instantly knew what to do, which is simply astonishing!

Pretty soon, Kibrit learned to jump from skateboard to skateboard like her siblings.

As with everything else, it’s no problem!

Does Kibrit Have the Need for Speed?

Most kitties would be nervous about being on a moving skateboard, especially when it goes fast. But not Kibrit. From the looks of it, she really enjoys riding on the small slope. Notice that she knows just what to do when the board reaches the top of the curve.

On the sidelines, Tiger looked on before running for cover.

Is Kibrit Headed for That Wall?

This Skatecat went viral in a video where it seemed she was headed straight for the wall. But no, she has it all under control! She uses her supurrpowered cat reflexes to bank at the last second. As it turns out, that tail works great for achieving balance on the board.

“Look how [she] maneuvers that thing. [She] shreds!🛹” commented one person.

Others said this kitty’s board must be using remote control. But no, she’s just that pawesome! We’re sure her family knows how special she is and protects her like a national treasure.
